What are the usual steps involved with orthodontic treatment?

How much time does orthodontic treatment typically take?

1.5-3 years, depending on dental development and case difficulty.
How long after treatment should I wear my retainers?
Full-time for the first ~3 months, then night-time for life-time. Retainers are the best way to decrease the risk of dental relapse.
Should I continue to see my dentist while I’m in braces?
Absolutely. Healthy teeth are more important than straight teeth. You must continue to see your dentist every 3-6 months to be evaluated for cavities and gum disease.
Would my child with baby teeth benefit from seeing an orthodontist?
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. We can detect developing dental and skeletal issues then decrease their severity or eliminate them completely. Examples include impacted canine teeth and dental crossbites, which can cause skeletal asymmetries.

We recommend scheduling an initial consultation for anybody 6 years old and up, but in most cases, treatment is not recommended until age 12.
How much does treatment cost?
$4,770-6,770+ depending on case difficulty.
Do you accept insurance?
We accept most insurance plans and will file claims on your behalf.
We do not accept Medicaid.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, we offer flexible financing options to suit your needs.
Every treatment plan is unique, so we recommend discussing financial details in-person with our coordinator after the orthodontist has completed an initial evaluation.
